Role Description

You should be a qualified conveyancer fully able to deal with any conveyancing matter from start to finish. You should be able to supervise others. You must have a demonstratable track record of good quality residential conveyancing experience and like to work as a team.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cramlington.

Qualifications

  • Qualified solicitor or lawyer with substantial experience in residential conveyancing.
  • There is an opportunity to assist and be trained in commercial property transactions, if of interest.
  • Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating property-related documents such as contracts, leases, and titles.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in clear, accessible language.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a small-firm environment.
  • Comfort using digital tools and online portals to track matters and keep clients updated, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, transparency in fees, and building long-term client and agent relationships.
  • Familiarity with the North East property market and existing connections with local agents or commercial property services is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and options for clients.
