We are working with a top-tier international UK law firm based in Edinburgh for an Associate to join their Non-Contentious Construction team.
The Role: The successful candidate will join a highly regarded transactional Construction & Engineering team, advising real estate developers, institutional investors and major national and international corporations on significant and complex construction and engineering projects. The team works closely with colleagues across real estate, finance and other practice areas, with a particular focus on major projects within the built environment.

The role involves providing strategic and commercial advice on the construction aspects of major real estate development projects, including drafting and negotiating construction and engineering documentation and advising on JCT and other standard form contracts.
Essential Criteria:
- 2+ years’ PQE;
- Non-contentious construction law background;
- Strong academic background;
- Technically excellent;
- Team player;
- Organisation skills;
- Strong commercial awareness.
