Lawyer Talent Engagement Specialist / Legal Recruiter – LOD

We are looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven Lawyer Engagement Manager to join our London team. This is a pivotal role within LOD, sitting at the heart of how we support our lawyers and deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.

You will play a critical role in matching exceptional lawyers to the right client opportunities, shaping client solutions, and ensuring our lawyer pipeline remains strong, diverse, and closely aligned to evolving client needs. You’ll combine commercial judgment, creativity, and operational rigor in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

This is a hybrid role based in our London office.

Role Responsibilities

Matching Lawyers to Client Assignments

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with LOD lawyers to match them effectively to client opportunities.
  • Draft tailored, high-quality client proposals, positioning lawyers for success.
  • Deliver proposals at pace while maintaining consistently high standards in a fast-moving environment.
  • Take a creative and solution-led approach to identifying lawyers, including sourcing beyond the core LOD pool when required.

Recruiting and Engaging New LOD Lawyers

  • Act as an LOD ambassador, meeting and assessing new lawyers joining LOD and evaluating their suitability for client opportunities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of lawyers’ technical expertise, sector knowledge, and motivations.
  • Support and inform recruitment and resourcing strategy, aligned with current and future client demand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
