Join Our Team as a Layout Development Lead!
At Boots, we're committed to helping our customers feel good by creating stores that are easy to navigate, with the right products and services in the way customers like to shop. As part of Commercial Services, the Layout Development team partners across the business, as well as with external stakeholders and architects, to design layouts for new stores, relocations, trials, and new concepts across the UK and Ireland.
The team brings together multiple initiatives and stakeholder requirements into a single store plan, supporting the successful delivery of new retail spaces and customer offer developments.
What you'll be doing
Leading the development of store layouts for new and redesigned Boots stores across the UK and Ireland, enabling the launch and testing of new concepts, trials, and customer-focused initiatives across all store formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver to time and quality, AutoCAD Layouts for the Development Programme and any other Commercial & Customer Activity as required.
- Make customer & financially focussed micro space decisions using appropriate tools.
- Ensure all layouts conform to the appropriate principles, template and adjacencies guidance.
- Maintain quality standards for layout delivery & engagement with stakeholders both internal and external.
- Manage personal time and workload to effectively deliver to agreed time and quality standards.

What You’ll Need To Have (our Must-haves)
- Experienced user of AutoCAD is essential as this is the key tool used in the role.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and visualise solutions in 2D and 3D.
- Excellent concern for order & quality.
- Be a strong team player.
- Be able to work flexibly and adapt to change.
- Good numeracy & analytical skills with excellent time management & communication skills.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
