Overview

This position will play a key part in supporting us to deliver an exceptional service to our customers, who are at the heart of everything we do. A primary focus of the role is to create and process spare parts enquiries, taking a key role in proactive follow-up and sales consultation. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to fill this critical role and continue to build on our achievements.

The successful applicant will need to be highly organised, possess outstanding communication skills and ideally have a good technical background.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create and process both simple and complex enquiries, quotations, and orders in the current Krones systems, taking into account country and customer specifics.
  • Gather all necessary information from customers, sales, and our technical clarification team to initiate accurate and tailored quotations.
  • Individual communication and correspondence with customers and internal departments.
  • Collect customer documentation, Purchase Orders, to prepare and launch orders.
  • Coordinate closely with Krones AG business units to ensure proper order processing and technical alignment.
  • Maintain accurate data entry in SAP workflows to support offer and order processing.
  • Maintain regular contact with Krones AG and internal departments (Sales LCS, Service, and Maintenance team) for clarification and coordination.
  • Be the first point of escalation for customer service spare parts in the UK. Building on the network in Krones AG to drive customer success against the distribution channel.
  • Independent processing and analyzing of simple to moderately complex technical clarifications as well as creation and processing of simple to moderately complex overhauls.
  • Handling of all spare parts processes for the assigned customers in the region.
  • Checking whether orders match previously prepared quotations.
  • Entering the correct order into SAP with an eye for accuracy and correctness.
  • Maintaining a good relationship and communication (phone / email) with the different customers.
  • Working with the technical clarification team in order to provide relevant information and offers to the customer through technical datasheets. Create and manage opportunities in our current CRM system.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for relevant LCS Sales tasks.
  • Leading customer discussions for the proactive sale of spare parts (lead generation).

  • At least three years’ experience in a same/similar industry with a proven track record.
  • Business administration/Technical qualification, or equivalent experience is essential.
  • Good level of computer literacy, having used MS Office, but also with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience in SAP and CRM systems advantageous.
  • Communication capability in written, verbal, face-to-face, and good listening skills to ensure clarity of message.
  • Self-motivated to work efficiently and achieve objectives.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments within the company.
