LCV Fitter / LGV Mechanic (Sizewell C)

Responsibilities
As the LCV Fitter/ LGV Mechanic, your responsibilities may include:
- Ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant, and fully operational
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on LGVs, trailers, and other fleet vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
- Ensuring all work meets DVSA, manufacturer, and company compliance requirements
- Completing preventative maintenance tasks and defect rectification
- Replacing and repairing components e.g. brakes, clutches, suspension, steering systems, gearboxes, and engines
- Using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve fault codes
- Conducting roadside breakdown repairs when required
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Keeping workshop and equipment safe, clean, and well maintained
- Following safe systems of work

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds Light Vehicle qualifications (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT Tester licence (beneficial)
- CSCS card

We are looking for an experienced and reliable LCV Fitter to inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of LGVs. The successful candidate will have hands-on technical experience and the ability to work alone and as part of a team. They will also have strong diagnostic skills and experience working on LGVs.
