An Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced LCV & HGV Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced LCV & HGV Technician to join Adams Morey at our brand-new dealership in Andover.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a new team from the very beginning, working within a modern workshop equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and manufacturer technology. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Hours
- Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid) with two 15 minutes paid breaks.
Salary
- Dependent on experience, will be discussed at interview stage
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light and heavy commercial vehicles.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Completing MOT preparation and inspections.
- Undertaking warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate job records and completing all associated paperwork.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Working collaboratively with the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as an LCV and/or HGV Technician.
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a busy workshop team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).
- A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing.
