Location: Gloucester

Salary: £37,440 basic salary DOE, OTE up to £48,000

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, rotating early and late shifts

ISQ Recruitment is working with a leading commercial vehicle workshop in Gloucester to recruit an experienced LCV Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to join a professional, well-established automotive environment with strong training, career development, and earning potential.

The role will involve carrying out high-quality servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on light commercial vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard. With overtime opportunities and ongoing training available, this position would suit someone looking to develop their technical career within a busy commercial workshop.

We are keen to speak with qualified LCV Technicians, Vehicle Technicians, or Commercial Vehicle Technicians who have strong diagnostic and repair experience and take pride in delivering reliable, professional workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out major and minor repairs on light commercial vehicles
  • Complete routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose faults and support repair planning across the workshop
  • Identify worn or faulty components in line with required safety standards
  • Maintain accurate job cards, repair records, and associated paperwork
  • Ensure workshop standards, cleanliness, and safety procedures are followed
  • Support customers and colleagues with a professional, solutions-focused approach

Candidate Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, or equivalent
  • Experience working on light commercial vehicles or vans
  • Strong diagnostic, servicing, and repair skills
  • Ability to identify defects and work to DVSA standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work well within a busy workshop team
  • A positive attitude towards training, development, and continuous improvement

Working Hours

Rotating Shift Pattern, Monday to Friday

  • Week 1: 06:00 - 14:30
  • Week 2: 13:30 - 22:00
  • 40 hours per week.
