Learning & Development Lead
Location: Flexible (Hybrid/Remote)
We're partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed professional services business that is expanding rapidly through acquisition. As the organisation continues to grow, they are looking to appoint an experienced Learning & Development Lead to build and embed a best-in-class learning strategy that supports both business performance and employee development.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of learning across the organisation, creating the frameworks, programmes, and culture that enable people to thrive while supporting growth, leadership capability, and operational excellence.
The Role
Reporting to the Group HR Director, you will lead the design and delivery of a modern learning and development function. You'll work closely with senior leaders to develop capability across the business, driving leadership development, technical learning, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a company-wide Learning & Development strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Design and implement a scalable learning framework to support a growing, acquisitive organisation.
- Identify capability gaps through data, stakeholder engagement, and workforce planning.
- Create learning roadmaps and measure success through meaningful business and people outcomes.
- Design and deliver leadership development programmes for managers and senior leaders.
- Coach and support leaders in performance management, feedback, coaching conversations, and career development.
- Establish meaningful KPIs and learning metrics to demonstrate impact and return on investment.
- Produce insightful reporting and dashboards to track engagement, capability development, and programme effectiveness.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional development across the business.

About You
You'll be an experienced L&D professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and enjoys building capability in high-growth environments.

You'll bring:
- Proven experience leading Learning & Development within a scaling organisation.
- A strong track record of designing and implementing learning strategies from the ground up.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Expertise in leadership development, management capability, and organisational learning.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels.
- Excellent project and change management capabilities.
- Experience using learning analytics, data, and AI-enabled learning technologies to enhance development programmes.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to align learning initiatives to wider business objectives.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences.
