L&D Regulator Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Location: Kettering
We are currently recruiting for a Group L&D Regulatory Manager to take ownership of regulatory training and compliance across the business. This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for ensuring employees receive the required regulatory training while maintaining full compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
The Role
As Group L&D Regulatory Manager, you will have direct responsibility for the company's regulatory training requirements, including:
- CPC, First Aid, ADR, and Fork-Lift training.
- Managing external training providers and regulatory audits.
- Liaising with regulatory bodies including DVSA and Qualifications Scotland.
- Developing and writing training programmes from start to finish.
- Managing the application and approval process with relevant governing bodies.
- Ensuring all training programmes meet current legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring training compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Providing direct line management and day-to-day supervision of the L&D Administration team.
- Maintaining accurate training records and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met across the business.

About You
We are looking for an experienced L&D, Training, Compliance, or Regulatory professional with a strong background within the logistics and transport industry. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience managing regulatory training within logistics, transport, or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of transport-related training and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and external training providers.
- Experience designing and implementing training programmes.
- Strong understanding of legislative and compliance requirements.
- Previous line management experience.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

You must have PTTLs or Level 3 Awards in education and training certification.
The following would be highly advantageous:
- Valid ADR Training Certificate.
- JAUPT Centre Instructor credential.
- Transport Manager CPC.
- HGV licence.
