So are we. Join Compare the Market as a Learning & Development Training Intern and gain hands-on experience within Learning, Talent and Development. This 10-week placement is designed to help you understand how organisations build capability at scale, while contributing to learning content, digital learning and future-skills projects such as AI and data literacy.

Working alongside the L&D team, you’ll support the design, delivery and evaluation of learning initiatives that help colleagues build the skills needed for today and the future. No previous Learning & Development experience is required — we’re looking for someone who is curious, organised, creative and eager to learn.

What you’ll be doing:

Learning projects & delivery

  • Support the coordination and delivery of learning programmes and events.
  • Assist with creating learning materials, guides and supporting resources.
  • Help maintain learning content across learning platforms and systems.
  • Support the rollout of key capability-building initiatives.

Content creation

  • Create engaging digital content, communications and learning resources.
  • Design presentations, toolkits, job aids and visual learning materials.
  • Research learning trends, emerging technologies and best practice.
  • Support the development of learning modules and learning pathways.

Learning analytics & insight

  • Produce reports on learning activity, attendance and engagement.
  • Analyse learner feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support evaluation activities to understand learning impact.
  • Use data to help inform recommendations and future learning priorities.

Stakeholder support

  • Work with colleagues across the business to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Support communication and engagement activities for learning programmes.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers where required.

Learning innovation

  • Explore new approaches to learning, including AI-enabled tools and digital learning solutions.
  • Support experiments and pilots that enhance the learner experience.
  • Bring fresh ideas and perspectives to team projects and activities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Currently studying for, or recently completed, a degree in HR, Business, Marketing or a relevant discipline.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating presentations, digital content or communications.
  • An interest in learning, people development, digital technology or AI.
  • Experience using data to identify trends or insights.
  • Technically savvy and comfortable using Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Curious, proactive and willing to learn.
