The Legal Delivery Centre (LDC)
The Legal Delivery Centre (LDC) provides flexible products and scalable solutions to support the firm's high-end advisory services.
The LDC works as an extended part of the legal team, dealing with activities that are best performed by a specialist, process-centric operation. Legal professionals (Paralegals), combined with the Legal Delivery Centre's qualified lawyers and IT tools, deliver a transparent service to agreed timescales, yielding very high-quality outputs.
The LDC operates from offices in Germany, the UK, and across Australia. All combine to service the requirements of the international business and our clients.
We are now keen to build on our success and have an important hire to make. Our well-established LDC is looking to grow and appoint additional Supervising Lawyers or Review Managers, who will help lead the LDC's delivery of electronic document review and push the firm’s offering in this space to the next level. This will involve independently leading delivery of a broad range of client mandates (including eyes-on document review), reviewing and improving our processes (including through the application of next-gen legal technology), and being a key point of contact / subject matter expert for our clients, lawyers, and other colleagues.
Main duties and responsibilities
You will support the delivery of an exceptional service to the firm’s lawyers and clients, including by:
- Taking responsibility for and independently delivering allocated electronic document review projects, across the litigation, arbitration, investigations, and data protection space, including:
- Agreeing strategy and approach with our specialist lawyers and clients, including RelativityOne methodology / coding and potential AI deployment
- Briefing and supervising the Paralegal review team, as well as validating their review output
- Acting as an escalation point for legal and process queries from all stakeholders
- Being primary LDC representative and document review expert in conversations with our lawyers and clients
- Engaging in clear and constant communication and feedback between the LDC, Electronic Data Management and lawyer teams throughout the life of an instruction, particularly in the planning phase to ensure the team are in the best possible position for success
- In some cases, personally undertaking second-level review
- Ensuring:
- Standard ways of working are optimized, accessible, and adhered to
- Robust checks and quality controls are in place
- The team is set up to deliver to internal or external client requirements and succeeds in doing so

You will take a leading role in the development and expansion of the LDC's offering by:
- Building relationships with the firm’s lawyers and Partners to promote awareness of the LDC’s capabilities and demonstrate the quality of our offering
- Driving increased LDC adoption by working across the firm to identify further LDC solutions and designing / standing up such products
- Taking the lead on improving operational processes, documentation, and training (including ensuring playbooks and other LDC materials are comprehensive and up to date)
- Championing and delivering the deployment of next-gen technology, particularly generative AI, across our electronic document review service line
- Depending on experience and location, potentially undertaking line management responsibility (including performance management and review) for a team of Paralegals
- Working with the LDC's Contentious Lead, Resourcing Manager, Supervising Lawyers, and practice group colleagues to manage overall workloads and the allocation of specific projects
- Identifying training needs and arranging / providing coaching where required across the LDC electronic document review team
About You
We do not set upper or lower limits of experience for any of our vacancies. We have however given an indicative approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have 5 years’ experience working within a contentious legal team, specialist document review ALSP, or similar setting are likely to have the right level of knowledge required to successfully undertake this role.

Skills And Experience Required
- High degree of familiarity with RelativityOne (or comparable review platform) and strong overall document review experience
- Experience with and passion for deployment of gen-AI in the context of legal delivery
- Qualified solicitor in a common law jurisdiction
- Able to manage and work well with people at all levels
- Clear and effective communicator
