Role Summary
Due to ongoing strategic initiatives and regional expansion, our Client is seeking a highly skilled Frontier Engineer with security clearance to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting mission-critical projects that have a significant impact on national security and technological resilience. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and optimise frontier infrastructure systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues across complex networks and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable engineering solutions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, updates, and incident reports
- Adhere to security protocols, compliance standards, and best practices to safeguard sensitive information
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system robustness and efficiency
- Participate in on-call and reactive support activities as required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Frontier Engineer or similar role within a secure environment
- Active SC (Secret) security clearance or higher
- Strong understanding of telecommunications, networking, and security protocols
- Hands-on experience with deployment and troubleshooting of frontier infrastructure
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and provide clear, structured reports
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively under pressure in mission-critical settings

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with automation tools and scripting to optimise processes
- Knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to frontier engineering
- Previous experience working within government or security-focused projects
