Job Description

Join Our Team as Chargehand, Leadinghand, LE1 or LE2 Linesman - Opportunities are UK Based Sites.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Install, maintain and repair overhead power lines ranging from 132kv to 400kv.
  • Work at heights and in various weather conditions to complete tasks safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless project execution
  • Skilled in tower steelwork assembly and erecting including temporary mast
  • Conductor replacement including full tension stringing.

Qualifications

Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrable proven experience of working from 132kV upto and including 400kV overhead lines and lattice towers
  • Working in the Construction Industry or in an outside environment
  • Operation of specialist OHL Plant and Equipment
  • Catenary Aerial Support System (CASS) and fibre optic wrap work
  • Temporary mast
  • Steel/Tower Erection using as self-supporting Derrick

Qualifications/Training

Essential:

  • Training courses for operation of plant and machinery.
  • Basic skills in English and Mathematics
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Medical / Drugs and alcohol test
  • SHEA Power Utility Health and Safety Awareness Passport
  • BESC OHL
