As an LE2 Linesman, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems, ensuring reliable power delivery for AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For The Following
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution lines, including poles, conductors, transformers, and associated equipment.
- Perform live-dead-live testing, grounding, and bonding procedures according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other specialized line equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system faults and outages, implementing effective solutions to restore service.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, and working at heights.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure project completion and operational efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as required to address power outages and critical infrastructure issues.
- Complete accurate documentation of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and equipment status.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- LE2 Linesman certification or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Proven experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating line construction and maintenance equipment, including bucket trucks and digger derricks.
- Thorough understanding of electrical safety practices, including arc flash, grounding, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing poles and lifting heavy objects.
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
