Lead Academic Advisor
Coder Pro Ltd | Remote | Part-time, flexible advisory role
Coder Pro is a UK-based online education company providing Computer Science curriculum and instruction to international schools, with a current focus on Cambridge and AP programs. We intend to expand into other advanced STEM subjects, including A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and AP Calculus.
We are seeking an experienced international education professional to join Coder Pro as Lead Academic Advisor.
This is not a conventional operational or full-time position. We are looking for someone with substantial experience in international-school leadership who can provide occasional, high-level guidance as the company develops.
The Role
The Lead Academic Advisor will work directly with the founder and may contribute several hours per month in areas such as:
- Advising on the needs and expectations of international schools
- Reviewing academic offerings, proposals, and communications
- Providing guidance on positioning Coder Pro for school leadership and parents
- Advising on school partnerships and institutional decision-making
- Helping shape academic policies and future program development
- Participating occasionally in important meetings with prospective school partners
- Making professional introductions where appropriate and comfortable
- Advising on the development of Coder Pro’s broader academic team

Ideal Background
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- Extensive experience in international education
- Previous senior leadership experience such as Head of School, Principal, Director, Superintendent, Deputy Head, or similar
- Strong understanding of how international schools evaluate academic programs and external education providers
- Experience with Cambridge, AP, IB, British, American, or other major international-school curricula
- A well-developed professional network within international education
- An interest in remaining involved in education in a flexible, limited-commitment capacity
The role may be particularly suitable for someone who has recently retired or stepped away from full-time school leadership but would still enjoy contributing their experience to a developing education company.

Commitment and Compensation
The initial time commitment is expected to be light and flexible, typically only a few hours per month.
This is an early-stage advisory appointment rather than a salaried position. Paid advisory or project work may be agreed as the company develops, and there may also be scope for equity participation subject to a separate agreement.
No minimum number of hours is guaranteed.

Coder Pro was founded by an experienced Computer Science educator and is developing a model that connects international schools with capable teachers, structured curriculum, and specialist academic support.
Our objective is to build a small, highly capable academic team and establish long-term partnerships with international schools by delivering programs that provide clear value to students, schools, and parents.
