Lead Account Manager
We have an opportunity for a Lead Account Manager to join the team at Cooneen at Work, Fivemiletown on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will lead the Contract and Account Management Team, including Account Managers and Account Coordinators to ensure existing contracts deliver sales and margin growth; contractual KPIs and SLAs are achieved; customer satisfaction targets are met; and contracts are retained.
The role is suited to an experienced professional with a background in account management, contract management, customer relationship management, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Promote Cooneen values and lead the commercial team by example.
- Lead and develop a team of four Account Managers and Account Coordinators to achieve business and customer objectives.
- Maximise contribution and minimise risk within your business area.
- Deliver sales and gross margin targets across existing contracts and accounts.
- Manage the preparation, submission and control of the overhead budget.
- Build relationships with key customer decision-makers and support the Account Team to do the same.
- Ensure contractual requirements, SLAs and KPIs are delivered across assigned contracts.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and implement corrective actions where required.
- Set team KPIs and objectives, monitor performance, and address variances.
- Support the Account Management Team to grow account value through value engineering, cross-selling, upselling and cost efficiencies.
- Oversee client account reviews and ensure effective service and account development plans.
- Produce weekly and monthly management reports, including updates for the Senior Contracts Manager.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in account management within a business-to-business environment, including people management responsibility.
- Demonstrable team management experience.
- Proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to review and analyse reports for forecasting and performance management.

Desirable
- Demonstrable experience in an office environment within a manufacturing, construction, or retail business.
- Experience producing Excel-based reports.
- Experience in manufacturing, critical paths, production scheduling and order management.
- Experience dealing with customers both remotely (phone and email) and in person.
- Qualification in a business, manufacturing or construction-related discipline.
