About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead AI Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between data science and software engineering to develop, deploy, and maintain scalable AI and machine learning solutions. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing our platform’s capabilities, improving user experience, and delivering innovative features powered by artificial intelligence.
You will work closely with data scientists, software developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of AI models into our systems. Your focus will be on optimizing AI performance, ensuring reliability, and maintaining best practices in deployment and monitoring. As a Lead AI Engineer, you will also mentor junior team members, promote best practices in AI development, and contribute to strategic planning around AI initiatives. Your work will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and users.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code suitable for production environments.
- Proven track record of deploying AI/ML models into production, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Familiarity with MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, and monitoring strategies.
- Strong experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, along with cloud-native AI tools like SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML Studio.
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes) to manage scalable AI solutions effectively.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles, including building data pipelines, data wrangling, and integrating AI models with enterprise data systems.
- Experience working within agile development environments and participating in cross-functional team collaborations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and machine learning models that align with business needs and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to productionize AI solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of AI models.
- Optimize AI models for scalability, speed, and accuracy while maintaining robustness and reliability.
- Lead efforts in cloud-based AI solution architecture, leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Build and manage data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data ingestion, processing, and storage for AI applications.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and innovation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying best practices and emerging technologies to projects.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the continuous improvement of AI development processes.
