Lead Analyst - 12-month FTC
London - Hybrid, 2 days per week
Up to £85,000
This is an opportunity to join a growing, data-driven business where pricing sits at the heart of commercial strategy. You'll work across pricing, experimentation, forecasting and revenue optimisation, helping shape decisions that drive sustainable growth across international markets.
The Company
They are an established eCommerce and marketplace business operating at global scale, combining technology, analytics and commercial insight to support continued growth. With a large international workforce and operations across multiple regions, they are investing heavily in their digital capabilities and customer proposition.
Their analytics function plays a critical role in decision-making, partnering with commercial, product, engineering and finance teams to deliver measurable business impact. As they continue to evolve their pricing and revenue strategy, they are looking for a commercially minded Pricing Analyst to join the team.
The Role
You will work closely with commercial and analytics stakeholders to optimise pricing decisions and drive long-term revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluate pricing strategies and their impact on revenue, customer behaviour and long-term value.
- Analyse pricing performance and provide recommendations to support business growth.
- Design, execute and evaluate A/B tests and promotional activity.
- Build analytical frameworks to measure performance and identify commercial opportunities.
- Support forecasting, revenue planning and business performance modelling.
- Work with large-scale datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights.
- Partner with Data Science teams on pricing elasticity, demand forecasting and revenue optimisation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, Platform and Finance teams to deliver data-led solutions.
- Translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Support both UK and US markets, considering differing commercial dynamics and customer behaviours.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and troubleshoot code from scratch.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Strong commercial analytics experience within an eCommerce, marketplace or similar data-rich environment.
- Experience measuring and analysing experiments, including A/B testing.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate analytical findings into practical commercial recommendations.
- Exposure to forecasting, pricing analytics, customer value analysis or revenue optimisation.
- Python experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience building models or analytical frameworks would be advantageous.
