Lead Analyst - Pricing & Promotions
Up to £50,000 + Benefits
Hybrid - 2 days per week, Central London
We're working with a well-established consumer-facing business that is investing heavily in data and analytics to drive smarter commercial decision-making. As part of this investment, they're expanding a newly formed analytics function focused on pricing, promotions, product strategy, and trading performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analyst to work on commercially critical projects, applying advanced analytics to influence pricing, promotional, and trading decisions across the business.
The Role
- Develop analytical models to support pricing, promotions, and commercial trading decisions.
- Apply forecasting, optimisation, elasticity analysis, and predictive modelling techniques.
- Translate customer, product, and trading data into actionable commercial recommendations.
- Present insights to stakeholders, helping drive data-led decision making.
- Deliver deep-dive analysis into pricing, promotional, and trading performance.
- Support and mentor junior analysts while contributing to the development of the wider analytics function.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in Analytics, Commercial Analytics, or Data Science.
- Strong SQL and Power BI (or a similar data visualisation tool).
- Python experience is advantageous.
- Experience within retail, consumer, e-commerce, or another high-volume commercial environment.
- Strong background in pricing, promotions, or commercial analytics.
- Experience with forecasting, optimisation, elasticity modelling, or other commercial modelling techniques.
- Previous mentoring or coaching experience is desirable.
