Job Title: Lead Architect - OT, IoT & Edge
Duration: long-term contract
Location: Sheffield-Based Hybrid
We are looking for an experienced OT, IoT & Edge Architect to lead architecture across smart buildings, operational technology and protective security systems. The role focuses on securing legacy and live-building environments, managing third-party connectivity, and ensuring solutions are resilient, compliant and aligned with IEC 62443 security principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define secure architecture patterns for OT, IoT, smart buildings and protective security.
- Design OT network segmentation, zoning and secure remote access solutions.
- Review and assure solution designs, identifying security risks and control gaps.
- Produce architecture diagrams, decision records and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Networks, Real Estate and external suppliers.

Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in OT, IoT, Edge or security architecture.
- Knowledge of IEC 62443, OT segmentation and industrial cybersecurity.
- Experience with smart buildings, legacy systems and third-party connectivity.
- Understanding of secure remote access, risk management and architecture governance.
- Ability to work with multiple technical teams and suppliers.
