Are you an experienced Architect ready to take the lead on shaping the future of a large and complex estate?

We’re looking for a talented Lead Architect to join our team and play a key role in developing estate strategies, site masterplans, feasibility studies and future capital projects across Northern Ireland.

Working closely with the Estate Strategy and Planning Manager, you’ll lead exciting large-scale projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders, and help drive the modernisation and decarbonisation of the estate.

🔑 What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the development of estate strategies and site masterplans
  • Managing feasibility studies, project dossiers and future project blueprints
  • Delivering Functional Suitability Assessments to inform estate planning
  • Managing in-house architectural resources and external Integrated Design Teams
  • Providing architectural expertise for business cases, commercial bids and capital projects
  • Managing budgets, design fees, resources and change control
  • Ensuring projects meet current legislation, regulations and the RIBA Plan of Work
  • Supporting the modernisation and decarbonisation of a significant estate

🎓 What we’re looking for:

  • A degree and relevant postgraduate or professional qualification in Architecture, Planning, Surveying, Estate Management or a related built environment discipline.
  • Current ARB registration
  • Minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Experience in estate strategy, asset planning and site master planning
  • Strong experience managing projects across all RIBA work stages
  • Knowledge of Northern Ireland Planning and Building Regulations
  • Experience managing budgets, resources and project delivery
  • Knowledge of BIM Level 2 and architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland
