Managed Services Lead Architect | Up to £115,000

Location: Salisbury, with hybrid working
Salary: Up to £115,000
Working pattern: Hybrid — typically 2–3 days per week onsite in Salisbury

We’re looking for a Managed Services Lead Architect to join an exciting account undergoing significant change, with digital transformation at the heart of its strategy.

This is a high-profile role where you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end architecture of contracted services, ensuring technical integrity, quality and alignment with both client objectives and contractual commitments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and govern the end-to-end account architecture across a complex Managed Services environment.
  • Define technology strategies, roadmaps and future-state architectures.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders.
  • Lead architectural governance and ensure solutions meet agreed standards and practices.
  • Work closely with Domain Architects, Engineers and wider technical teams, providing direction and inspiration.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Balance technical strategy with commercial and contractual considerations.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies and innovation that deliver genuine value to the client.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an established Lead Architect / Enterprise Architect / Solutions Architect with significant experience working within complex Managed Services or large-scale technology environments.

You should have:

  • A strong track record of owning and governing end-to-end architecture.
  • Experience operating as a Lead Architect within a large Managed Services account.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
  • An understanding of contracts, commercials and service delivery.
  • The ability to translate business requirements into clear technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at senior level.
  • A passion for technology, innovation and continuous improvement.

This role requires SC clearance eligibility. Candidates must normally have resided continuously in the UK for the previous five years, subject to the full clearance requirements.
