Lead AV Engineer / Technical Delivery Manager

Commercial AV | North West with UK Travel £50,000–£55,000 + Car Allowance + Profitability Bonus + Pension

Are you an experienced commercial AV professional ready to take the next step into a senior technical leadership role?

We’re looking for a hands-on Lead AV Engineer / Technical Delivery Manager to lead our clients engineering function, raise technical standards and help shape the future of project delivery within a growing commercial AV business.

You’ll work across office and site, supporting projects from initial survey through to commissioning and handover. You’ll also lead, mentor and develop engineers, support technically complex installations and work closely with Project Managers, customers and subcontractors.

The Role

  • Lead the technical delivery of commercial AV projects.
  • Manage, mentor and develop engineers and subcontractors.
  • Carry out site surveys and develop technical solutions.
  • Support commissioning, fault finding and complex installations.
  • Conduct quality inspections and reduce snagging and rework.
  • Develop installation standards, procedures and best practice.
  • Work with the Projects team to support quotations and project delivery.

About You

  • You’ll likely have started your career on the tools and have strong experience across commercial AV, including areas such as professional displays, audio, video conferencing, AV distribution, control systems, rack building and commissioning.
  • You’ll be a confident technical problem solver who enjoys developing people and raising standards. Experience managing engineers or leading installation teams is highly desirable.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
