AI Lead Developer
Rate: £615/day (Outside IR35, all-inclusive)
Location: Remote - Ad hoc travel to end-client sites as required
Here at Anson McCade, we are working with a globally renowned consulting organisation to hire an experienced Azure AI Lead Developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of AI-powered solutions and intelligent automation capabilities.
- Design and implement scalable AI architectures using Azure services.
- Drive the adoption of best practices across prompt engineering, AI governance, and model lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy production-ready AI applications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and stakeholders.
- Support the integration of AI services with existing business platforms and applications.

Essential Skills & Experience:

- Strong experience with Azure OpenAI Service or equivalent AI platforms.
- Expertise in embeddings, vector and hybrid search, orchestration frameworks, and AI agents.
- Experience designing, managing, and versioning prompts for enterprise AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AI Search.
- Experience using Azure Synapse for data ingestion and preparation.
- Experience working with Azure Blob Storage.
- Development experience with Azure Functions and Power Platform custom connectors.
- Proven experience leading AI delivery within enterprise environments.
