About the Role
As a Lead Backend Software Engineer, you'll collaborate, problem solve, and provide technical leadership to a small team of other senior engineers to build the 1st generation of a highly complex SaaS platform.
There are many technical challenges. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, liaising with senior stakeholders to discover and break down requirements, through to design and development of complex, data-driven features and applications, taking ownership and working independently to deliver secure cloud-based resources, solutions, and services.

Location / WFH
- Flexible work from home hybrid model
- Join colleagues in the Reigate office twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings
- 3 days a week work from home
About You
- Expertise with C#.Net Core backend software development, having worked on large, scalable systems with complexity
- Strong knowledge of Azure and SaaS
- Technical project leadership experience
- Advocate of creating, clean, reusable, and maintainable code and have a good knowledge of modern Microsoft software engineering best practices
- Good knowledge of security and IAM in Azure
- Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
- Good understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Likely to be degree educated in a relevant STEM discipline
