We’re working with a leading global asset manager looking to hire a senior Front Office Lead Business Analyst to join a major investment technology and transformation function.
This is a senior, hands-on role working across the investment lifecycle, partnering closely with Portfolio Managers, investment teams, Product, Architecture and Engineering to shape and deliver strategic change.
The Role
You’ll lead a team of experienced Business Analysts while remaining closely involved in the analysis and design of complex front-office initiatives.
The role will cover areas including investment research, portfolio management, trading and investment operations, helping translate business priorities into clear requirements, operating models and scalable technology solutions.
You’ll also play a key role in improving how analysis and design is performed across the function, driving greater consistency, simplification and reuse across investment teams.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team of experienced Business Analysts working across Front Office investment technology
- Partner with Fund Managers and senior investment stakeholders to understand priorities and shape strategic change
- Lead analysis and solution design across complex investment and technology initiatives
- Define requirements, business processes, capabilities and target operating models
- Work closely with Product, Architecture and Engineering throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Identify opportunities to simplify and standardise processes and technology across investment teams
- Help shape roadmaps and prioritise change based on business value
- Ensure solutions remain aligned to wider platform and technology strategy
- Support the adoption of data, analytics and AI across investment processes
- Establish and continuously improve Business Analysis and design standards across the team

What We’re Looking For
- Strong Business Analysis experience within Asset or Investment Management
- Good understanding of Front Office / Public Markets investment processes
- Experience across areas such as research, portfolio management, trading or investment operations
- Previous experience leading, managing or mentoring Business Analysts
- Strong experience working directly with senior investment and technology stakeholders
- Experience defining requirements, processes and target operating models
- Comfortable working closely with Product, Architecture and Engineering teams
- Strong understanding of technology-enabled business change
- Able to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required
