About Moneybox
At Moneybox, our mission is to give everyone the means to get more out of life. We're guided by our belief that wealth isn't about the money, it's about the means to more - more freedom, opportunities, possibilities, and peace of mind. Moneybox is an award-winning wealth management platform, helping over one and a half million people build wealth throughout their lives, whether they’re saving and investing, buying their first home, or planning for retirement.
What we do
The Change Team owns and delivers business architecture across Moneybox, focused on complex regulatory, technical, operational, third party, and process change. The team partners closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver our Roadmap. BAs are attached to a specific business architectural domain, partnered with a specific Product Lead, enabling the delivery of features and business changes, advising on rules and process behaviours, and turning ambiguous problems into clear, deliverable plans.
Job Brief
We're looking for a highly experienced Business Analyst to join the Change Team, partnering closely with the Head of Core Product to translate agreed priorities into clear requirements and deliverable plans across one of Moneybox's broadest and most foundational product areas - from customer registration and retention through to the compliance, financial crime, investing platform, key third parties, and operational architecture that underpins everything we build and run. This is a senior, standalone role - you'll own the analysis as it pertains to back-end systems, operational processes, third party integrations, and wider business architecture, turning a defined problem into a plan the business can act on, with genuine autonomy over how you get there.
What you'll do
- Work closely with the Head of Core Product and the wider Senior Leadership Team to translate agreed priorities and problem statements into clear requirements, options, process changes and deliverable plans for projects in the Core domain. This means you will be working on changes to the Moneybox app experience
- Be expert in and advise on the platform and operational side of change - back-end systems, processes, and workflows, enabling the Product and UX team who own the front-end, customer-facing, and UX requirements
- Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders across Leadership, Compliance, Legal, and Operations, as well as Engineering through to sign-off
- Map current-state processes and design future-state options, weighing trade-offs clearly for decision-makers
- Produce clear, audit-appropriate documentation where the work touches regulated processes - particularly compliance and financial crime-adjacent builds
- Build strong working relationships across the business, and know when and how to escalate
- Support delivery teams through implementation, adapting the plan and requirements as new information emerges

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Who you are
- Highly experienced - you will have seen and experienced business architecture in multiple organisations. Your experience will show in how quickly you get oriented
- A self-starter who can walk into ambiguity and start moving, rather than waiting for a fully-scoped brief
- Genuinely comfortable working in the grey, where the "right" process or owner isn't yet defined
- Excellent judgement about what to escalate, when, and to whom
- Comfortable working with and delivering updates directly to members of Moneybox’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executive Committee (ExCo)
- More energised by a scale-up's pace than a large bank's process - you've built things before, not just followed a playbook
- A strong partner to Product - able to challenge constructively and hold your own in the room with passionate and experienced colleagues
- Committed to delivering high-quality business requirements and comfortable being held accountable for ensuring positive business outcomes
Experience and skills
- 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, having experience of working within multiple organisations and delivery contexts
- Experience working in a regulated environment - financial services or another sector with comparable regulatory weight; direct financial crime experience is a strong plus but not essential, given the breadth of this role. Ideally this will include knowledge and experience of KYB/KYC onboarding
- Track record in start-up or scale-up environments, where you've had to build or shape process rather than simply operate within one
- Demonstrable experience working autonomously on ambiguous, loosely-defined problems, with a clear ability to prioritise your own escalation calls
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience partnering closely with Product
- Experience producing clear, audit-appropriate documentation
