About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Business Analytics Leader to drive the analytics agenda for our European first-party e-commerce business, based in London (UK) or Düsseldorf (DE).
Partnering with leaders across Category, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Finance, you will lead our Business Analysis team and turn complex data into clear commercial decisions and actionable growth opportunities. This is not a reporting-only role: success will be measured by the business impact of your recommendations, including incremental GMV, revenue growth, and margin improvement.
What You Will Do
- Own the analytics strategy and priorities for Joybuy’s European 1P business across all European markets and categories.
- Lead a team of Business Analysts, raising standards across problem solving, analysis, and impact measurement.
- Partner with senior leaders on business planning, performance reviews, and key commercial decisions, translating business challenges into structured analysis and action plans.
- Identify and size growth opportunities across traffic, conversion, customer retention, assortment, pricing, promotions, availability, and category performance.
- Develop business cases and recommendations, assessing potential value, trade-offs, and investment priorities.
- Drive insights through to execution, using test-and-learn approaches and measuring the incremental impact on GMV, revenue, margin, and efficiency.
- Build scalable forecasting, dashboards, and performance frameworks, and present clear, evidence-based recommendations to senior management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
