Lead Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid, London (3 days per week in the office)

Type: Permanent

Paying: £75,000-£85,000, depending on experience.

A leading Construction Engineering firm is looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to support a portfolio of business and technology transformation programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to lead analysis activities across digital transformation, enterprise systems, AI, cyber security, and business change initiatives.

Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology specialists, you will ensure business requirements are clearly understood and translated into solutions that deliver real business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities across multiple projects and programmes.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardise, and automate business processes.
  • Support the delivery of digital transformation and technology change initiatives.
  • Work with technical teams to define and evaluate solution options.
  • Support testing, business readiness, and user adoption activities.
  • Provide guidance and best practice to Business Analysts across the organisation.

Required Experience

  • Extensive Business Analysis experience within IT, transformation, or change environments.
  • Proven experience delivering requirements and process improvements for complex projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, HR, Finance, or Service Management platforms.
  • Strong business process mapping and improvement capabilities.
  • Experience supporting digital, infrastructure, cyber security, or business change programmes.
  • Knowledge of AI, automation, or process optimisation initiatives would be advantageous.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • BCS, IIBA, or equivalent Business Analysis qualification.
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification.

Desirable:

  • Agile Business Analyst, AgilePM, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
  • PRINCE2 qualification.
  • Change Management certification.

Location: Hybrid, London (3 days per week in the office)

Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Paying: £75,000 - £85,000, depending on experience.
