Lead Business Analyst
London (Hybrid)
Department of Technology
Reporting to Head of Product
circa. £80,000 - £90,000 + bonus and benefits
Build more than solutions. Build the Business Analysis function
This is not a traditional Business Analyst role. This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up.
You'll have genuine ownership of the Business Analysis capability while working on meaningful digital transformation initiatives that are reshaping how my client delivers products and services. You'll play a pivotal role in defining how Business Analysis is delivered across the organisation. You'll create the standards, tools and ways of working that underpin delivery, while remaining hands-on across the most strategically important initiatives.
We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable facilitating discovery workshops, mapping user journeys and writing high-quality user stories as they are coaching others, improving BA practices and working alongside Engineering and Architecture teams to turn ideas into scalable digital solutions.
This role will appeal to someone who enjoys building capability as much as delivering change.
You'll split your time between leading the BA practice and delivering complex digital initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
