Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable business analyst lead to take ownership of business analysis across our project and client portfolio. Working closely with internal and client stakeholders, you will be the point person for delivering business analysis requirements for projects that deliver cutting edge Google Cloud-based and AI solutions across a range of sectors. You will be equally confident in presenting to senior client stakeholders, as you are in leading projects and delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Work in a structured way at pace, employing relevant business analysis techniques and shaping user research
- Lead discovery, requirements definition and development of business processes and operating models
- Shape and own delivery plans and maintain good project discipline using Agile disciplines to define epics, user stories and product backlogs
- Be responsible for all aspects of business analysis activities including preparing and conducting interviews, shaping and leading workshops, designing and developing innovative communications methods to enable effective business change
- Work alongside project members developing cutting edge cloud technology and data projects
- Take a leading role and motivate a multi-skilled team in aspects of business analysis and nurture junior team members in business process and analysis best practices
- Lead client stakeholder and management engagement at all levels and liaise with subject matter experts
- Own communications with client contacts, keeping stakeholders informed and on-side

About the candidate
- Business analysis and user research experience in a fast-paced organisation
- Strong experience of delivering projects in a complex environment and maintaining good project discipline
- Experience collaborating with small, medium and large, public and private sector organisations to deliver high-impact solutions
- Expert in stakeholder management with the ability to communicate with a wide range of personalities
- A growth mindset, always looking for opportunities to grow both the business and yourself
- While not necessarily a hands-on technical role, you should feel comfortable discussing technical requirements and constraints with engineering and product teams
- Proven experience working with BA methodologies, with the ability to adapt your approach to suit the specific needs of a project
- Be eligible for UK Government SC-level security clearance
