Join our Business Intelligence team as a Lead Business Intelligence Specialist
and play a key role in delivering and maintaining high-quality Business Intelligence solutions for use across Business Services and COO. This is a specialist, hands-on role where you’ll combine strong BI expertise with technical guidance, governance and delivery skills to support effective reporting, analytics and insight-led decision making.
Working closely with business SMEs, metric or control owners and report producers, you’ll provide practical BI guidance and help translate business, regulatory and operational requirements into clear, deliverable reporting and analytics solutions. You’ll support effective prioritisation within agreed governance and delivery processes, ensuring work is focused on business value and delivered to a high standard.
You’ll design, develop and assure BI solutions using Power BI and wider Power Platform capabilities such as Power Apps and Power Automate, working with data platforms and established governance standards to ensure outputs are robust, reusable and aligned to business needs. You’ll also help stakeholders understand BI options, dependencies and implications so that solutions are sustainable and fit for enterprise consumption.

You’ll help maximise the value of data and BI solutions by promoting consistent standards, supporting adoption and improving the way reporting platforms are used across the organisation. You’ll also help make data preparation and reporting workflows more efficient by using automation and standardisation to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, strengthen controls and support scalable reporting. Through clear communication and data storytelling, you’ll help business users make better informed decisions while supporting regulatory and organisational objectives.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at our Swindon office.
