Role - Lead Consultant

Technology – Citrix Administration

Location – London, United Kingdom

Compensation – Competitive (including bonus)

Job Description

The Citrix & Windows Server Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and support of Citrix virtual environments and Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, performance, security, and reliability of desktop and application virtualization services and core Windows-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

Citrix Administration

  • Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) environments
  • Manage StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Studio, Director, and Citrix Licensing
  • Configure and optimize Citrix policies for performance, security, and user experience
  • Monitor Citrix environments, analyze trends, and proactively address issues
  • Perform Citrix upgrades, patches, and version migrations
  • Manage user profiles, roaming profiles, FSLogix, and folder redirection
  • Support VDI and published application environments

Windows Server Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022
  • Administer Active Directory, including users, groups, OU structure, and Group Policies
  • Manage core services such as DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services, and IIS
  • Perform server hardening, performance tuning, and capacity planning
  • Manage and optimize Failover Clustering, DFS, and high availability services
  • Experience with high availability, clustering, and DR designs
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and identity management
  • Advanced patch management strategy (WSUS / SCCM / Intune integration)
  • Manage PKI, certificate services, and renewal automation
  • Enterprise experience in VMware
  • Handle OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and system upgrades
  • Create and maintain SOPs, build documents, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
  • Follow ITIL-based Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes

Your role

In the role of a Lead Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required
