Join us in this role where you'll be responsible for bringing Ørsted's global employee communications and engagement strategy to life across the UK
You'll translate corporate narratives into meaningful, locally relevant communications and engagement initiatives that resonate with employees and leaders alike.
Working closely with colleagues across Global Communications, HR, leadership teams, and local stakeholders, you'll help create clarity during periods of change, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure that the voices and perspectives of UK employees inform our global approach.
Welcome to Global Employee Communications & Engagement
You'll be part of the Global Employee Communications & Engagement team within Global Communications, where you, together with your colleagues, will work to connect employees to Ørsted's strategy, purpose, culture, and transformation journey.
The team operates across multiple markets, combining global consistency with local relevance. As our UK Lead, you'll act as a key partner to leaders and stakeholders across the business, ensuring employees understand our direction, feel engaged in our mission, and have opportunities to share their perspectives and feedback.
You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Global Communications, HR, Strategy, Transformation teams, and local leadership to strengthen organisational alignment and employee experience.

You'll play an important role in:
- Translating global employee communications strategies and organisational narratives into clear, locally relevant communications for UK employees
- Leading engagement activities across the UK, including town halls, leadership forums, and other initiatives that strengthen connection to Ørsted's strategy, purpose, and culture
- Enabling leaders to communicate effectively through messaging support, communication toolkits, and communications coaching
- Supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives by helping leaders communicate with clarity and helping employees navigate change confidently
- Gathering employee insights through surveys, listening activities, and engagement forums to inform communication and engagement strategies
- Providing strategic communications advice to senior stakeholders while ensuring alignment between local market priorities and global communications frameworks.
To succeed in the role, you:
- Have substantial experience in internal communications, employee engagement, corporate communications, public relations, or a related discipline
- Have experience supporting senior leaders with leadership communications, stakeholder engagement, and organisational change initiatives
- Have a proven ability to influence and build strong relationships across complex, matrixed organisations
- Have experience designing and delivering communication campaigns, engagement programmes, and change communications activities
- Are skilled at gathering and interpreting employee feedback and translating insights into meaningful actions and communications
- Combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and thrive in collaborative environments with multiple stakeholders

Position salary range:
61,920.00- 103,200.00 + pension + benefits
