Location: Crawley, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid – 10 Days WFO per Month

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for experienced Progress OpenEdge / ABL professionals with hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience to join our team for a 6-month contract in Crawley, UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain applications using Progress OpenEdge / Progress 4GL / ABL.
- Design, implement, and deploy cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop APIs and integrate applications with cloud services and external systems.
- Work with relational databases, SQL, performance tuning, and application support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Ensure application reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
- Follow CI/CD, Git, and DevOps best practices.

MANDATORY SKILLS
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Progress OpenEdge / ABL / Progress 4GL.
- Strong experience with Progress OpenEdge application development and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong knowledge of GCP services including Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
- Experience in API development and system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with performance tuning and application support.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of application reliability, security, scalability, and cloud deployment.
