Job Description
Role Overview
The Lead: Consulting & Solutions Delivery is responsible for leading and developing Syspro’s consulting and solutions delivery capability within the United Kingdom. The role ensures that consulting engagements consistently deliver high-quality customer outcomes while supporting the services organisation's commercial and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Regional Consulting Leadership
- Lead and develop Syspro’s UK consulting and solutions delivery capability, ensuring high standards of consulting quality and customer engagement.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to Solutions Consultants and consulting team members across the UK region.
- Foster a high-performing consulting culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
- Support career development, performance management, and skills growth within the consulting team.

Customer Engagement & Value Creation
- Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure consulting engagements deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex or sensitive consulting engagements.
- Ensure consulting teams engage effectively with customers to understand business challenges and align solutions accordingly.
- Promote a proactive, transparent, and responsive approach to customer communication throughout consulting engagements.
- Work with Sales and Customer Success teams to position consulting services as a strategic driver of customer value and solution adoption.

Consulting Capability & Delivery Quality
- Ensure consulting engagements maintain high delivery standards and follow established consulting practices and solution design principles.
- Provide guidance and support to consulting teams during complex solution design and implementation activities.
- Encourage consistent consulting approaches that improve delivery quality and reduce risk.
- Support regional consulting teams in addressing delivery challenges and improving overall engagement outcomes.

Consulting Methodology & Delivery Standards
- Ensure adoption and consistent application of SYSPRO’s IDEAL implementation methodology across consulting engagements.
- Collaborate with the Lead: Project Management to ensure alignment between consulting methodology and project governance practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting frameworks, delivery approaches, and implementation standards.
- Support the development and adoption of consulting best practices that improve delivery consistency across the region.

Commercial Performance & Services Economics
- Monitor consulting performance indicators including billable utilisation, delivery efficiency, and services margin performance.
- Provide guidance on consulting scope management and engagement structuring to support sustainable commercial outcomes.
- Review services performance trends and identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and consulting value creation.
- Contribute to regional services planning and forecasting activities.

Resource & Capability Development
- Partner with Global Consulting Services Operations and regional leadership to plan consulting capacity and skills development within the UK team.
- Strengthen the Solutions Consulting capability by ensuring consultants possess strong functional, technical, and industry expertise.
- Identify training requirements and support ongoing professional development across the consulting organisation.
- Encourage continuous learning and the development of specialist consulting expertise.

Change Leadership
- Provide leadership and guidance during organisational or operational changes impacting consulting delivery.
- Support consulting teams and customers through evolving delivery models, new product capabilities, and services transformation initiatives.
- Help ensure organisational change initiatives are implemented effectively within the consulting team.
- Promote a culture of adaptability, resilience, and continuous improvement.

- Internal Collaboration & Strategic Alignment
- Ensure the UK consulting team aligns with global consulting services standards, methodologies, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide input into global services initiatives and share regional insights that support broader organisational improvement.
Job Requirements
Minimum Level of Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Beneficial Qualifications
- MBS or equivalent postgraduate management qualification.
Minimum Experience
- 10–15+ years of experience in professional services or consulting delivery within enterprise software environments.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing consulting or solutions delivery teams.
- Proven track record improving consulting delivery quality, team capability, and customer outcomes.
Beneficial Experience
- Experience implementing Syspro or comparable ERP platforms.
- Experience working in structured implementation frameworks within complex delivery environments.
- Experience working in regional consulting leadership roles within global organisations.
Special Skills and Knowledge

- Strong expertise in enterprise software consulting and solution delivery.

- Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and effectively manage complex engagement dynamics.

- Understanding of services economics, including utilisation, pricing models, and margin management.
