🚨 We're Hiring: Lead Control Systems Engineer (Process Control & Automation) 🚨

Are you an experienced Control Systems Engineer looking to take the lead on complex and innovative energy projects?

At Capula, part of the Dalkia Group, we're seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership across major automation and operational technology projects. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the delivery of critical infrastructure solutions spanning energy generation, renewables, battery storage, transmission, distribution and utility applications.

With decades of expertise in operational technology, automation and digital transformation, Capula delivers advanced integrated solutions that help our customers operate safely, efficiently and sustainably.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of process control, automation, SCADA and HMI systems
  • Developing control philosophies, system architectures and detailed software designs
  • Providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Leading PLC software development using platforms including Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation and Siemens
  • Driving SCADA and HMI integration, testing, commissioning and customer acceptance activities
  • Managing technical risks, engineering standards, cybersecurity considerations and change control
  • Coaching and mentoring engineers to promote engineering excellence and right-first-time delivery

We're looking for professionals with:

  • Proven experience leading complex control systems, industrial automation or operational technology projects
  • Strong understanding of the full engineering lifecycle from concept through commissioning
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and technical workstreams
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer-facing communication skills
  • Knowledge of engineering assurance, configuration management and industrial cybersecurity
  • A willingness to travel to customer and operational sites when required

Desirable experience includes:

  • Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Control Expert
  • Rockwell Studio 5000
  • Siemens TIA Portal
  • SCADA/HMI platforms such as AVEVA, FactoryTalk, WinCC, Ignition or Zenon
  • Industrial communications including Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, OPC UA, IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3 and MQTT
  • OT Cyber Security and IEC 62443
  • Functional Safety (IEC 61508 / IEC 61511)
  • Energy generation, renewables, battery storage and critical infrastructure projects
