An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing global investment business as the most senior corporate tax professional within a well-established in-house tax team.
The organisation operates at the intersection of technology, data, and international financial markets, with a highly analytical and fast-paced culture. Tax is viewed as a strategic function and has continued to attract investment as the business expands globally.
Reporting directly into senior finance leadership, this role will take ownership of the group's corporate tax reporting, compliance, and governance framework while leading a small team of tax professionals. The position offers significant visibility across the organisation and the opportunity to influence the development of tax processes, controls, and technology in a complex international environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the group's corporate tax reporting process, including year-end tax provisioning under IFRS and US GAAP
- Managing relationships with external advisors and auditors across multiple jurisdictions
- Overseeing outsourced corporate tax compliance and ensuring robust delivery across the global group
- Taking responsibility for Pillar Two implementation, reporting, and governance processes
- Supporting tax governance initiatives, including Senior Accounting Officer requirements and tax risk management
- Driving process improvement and technology-enabled transformation across tax reporting and compliance activities
- Leading, developing, and mentoring a high-calibre tax team
- Partnering closely with finance, legal, and senior business stakeholders on tax-related matters

The successful candidate will likely possess:
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification
- Strong corporate tax accounting experience gained within a large international group and/or professional services environment
- Deep understanding of IFRS tax reporting and ideally US GAAP
- Experience overseeing global corporate tax compliance through third-party advisors
- Knowledge of UK tax governance frameworks including SAO requirements
- Exposure to Pillar Two and international tax developments
- Previous people leadership experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax audiences
