Lead Cyber Security Architect (Enterprise Transformation Programme)
West London | Hybrid (2 days onsite) | Day Rate: £850-900 per day
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Cyber Security Architect to play a critical role in a major business and technology transformation programme. This position will lead the definition, governance and evolution of cyber security architecture, ensuring security is embedded into solutions from design through to deployment and ongoing operation.
Our client is undertaking a significant transformation programme and is seeking a cyber security leader who can provide architectural direction across complex technology landscapes. You will work closely with architecture, engineering and security teams, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient and aligned with enterprise objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the programme's lead security architect and cyber security subject matter expert.
- Define and maintain the programme security architecture strategy aligned with business and enterprise objectives.
- Establish security principles, standards, design patterns and reference architectures.
- Design secure solutions across cloud, infrastructure, applications, data platforms and integrations.
- Identify and manage cyber security risks, defining appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
- Present security architecture decisions within governance forums and design authorities.
- Define security testing requirements and review security assurance outcomes.
- Support operational readiness activities and secure programme delivery.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Cyber Security Architect, Security Solutions Architect or Enterprise Security Architect.
- Proven experience delivering security architecture within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance practices.
- Experience developing security standards, patterns and reference architectures.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers and third-party suppliers.
