About The Role

As a Lead Data Analyst at Women in Data®, you will be instrumental in transforming how data is leveraged to enhance customer experiences across the UK Customer segment. This role involves spearheading the development and governance of customer data models within Adobe Experience Platform, ensuring that data schemas, datasets, and audience definitions are structured, reusable, and aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Digital, Marketing, Data Privacy, and Digital Analytics to translate strategic goals into precise data and audience designs. Your expertise will help establish a robust data foundation that supports advanced analytics, personalized customer journeys, and responsible data use. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence data strategy, foster data governance best practices, and enable scalable, trusted data capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and governing audiences within Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time CDP, or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of XDM concepts, including event vs profile modeling and schema-driven design principles.
  • Hands-on experience working with Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) or comparable journey analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of how audiences are utilized by Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Target, and other activation platforms.
  • Experience incorporating privacy, consent, and data restrictions into audience and schema design.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including Data Privacy, Martech, Digital, and Marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and govern XDM schema and dataset standards to ensure consistency and clarity across the Adobe Experience Platform.
  • Translate complex business requirements into logical audience definitions, validating behavior, scale, and eligibility criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with Digital Analytics and Marketing teams to advise on audience activation, measurement, and optimization strategies.
  • Own the creation and management of audiences exported to third-party tools for marketing and media activation purposes.
  • Establish shared analytical taxonomies and attributes used across customer journeys, reporting, and experimentation efforts.
  • Work with Data Privacy and Martech teams to ensure data labels and schemas comply with privacy regulations and data restrictions.
  • Design and oversee governance frameworks for customer data models, ensuring they are scalable, explainable, and trustworthy.
  • Maintain expertise in XDM concepts, schema design, and journey analytics tools to continuously improve data practices.
  • Support responsible data use by integrating privacy and consent considerations into all data and audience strategies.
