The Role
At London Business School, you’ll lead how data is used to drive decisions across a world-class institution. You’ll help shape the move to a modern enterprise data platform, working with stakeholders to turn business needs into clear, impactful insights.
You’ll combine hands-on analysis with strategic influence—defining key metrics, improving reporting, and championing best practices in data and analytics. If you’re confident with Power BI, strong at translating complex data, and enjoy working across teams, you’ll make a real impact here.
Main Responsibilities
- Delivery of high-quality service in area of specialism.
- Area/team compliance with necessary regulations/processes.
- Production of high-quality reports, with the identification of trends and issues.
- Timely and robust onboarding of contractors.
- Projects delivered on time, on budget and to quality standards and targets.
- Development of relationships within and outside the team, and positive feedback from colleagues.
- Improvements to processes and procedures in own area of specialism.
- Up-to-date and accurate financial information for own service area.

- Advanced Power BI experience, including data modelling, DAX, performance optimisation and semantic model design.
- A professional manner and ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and communicate any issues in order to seek a resolution and to ensure timely completion.
- Awareness of current trends in technology.
- Flexibility to adapt to differing requirements as the situation demands.
- Ability to work under pressure and to manage priorities.
- Work alone and in teams, takes ownership and a desire to self-develop.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive experience of working within a customer-services orientated environment.
- Experience leading the discovery, definition and documentation of data and reporting requirements with non-technical stakeholders.
