About the Role
We’re supporting a high-growth tech business looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join its mature Data & AI team.
You’ll lead the delivery of commercial and customer analytics, helping senior stakeholders make better decisions across acquisition, retention, growth, and customer success. This is a role for someone who can set direction, organise a team’s work, and turn complex questions into clear, actionable insights.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing analysts, setting priorities, and raising standards across the team
- Owning the analytics roadmap and backlog, balancing stakeholder needs with delivery capacity
- Partnering confidently with senior commercial leaders to shape questions and communicate recommendations
- Overseeing analysis of customer behaviour, retention, growth, and commercial performance
- Ensuring consistent business and GTM metrics, reliable reporting, and strong data governance
- Improving self-service reporting and identifying opportunities for AI-enabled insights

Key skills:
- ✅ Experience leading an analytics team and organising delivery
- ✅ Strong roadmap, backlog, and prioritisation skills
- ✅ Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication
- ✅ Commercial and GTM analytics experience
- ✅ Ability to turn analysis into recommendations that influence decisions
- ✅ Working knowledge of SQL, dbt, and modern analytics practices

This is an opportunity for an experienced analytics lead who can bring clarity to competing priorities, support a strong team, and make commercial insight count. Hands-on coding expertise is welcome, but leadership, delivery, and stakeholder influence matter most.
Day rate £700-900 per day inside IR35
