Job Title: Lead Data Analyst (Fabric / ETL / Lakehouse)
Location: London
Experience: 8–12 Years

We at Coforge are looking for a Lead Data Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, ETL, and Lakehouse architectures to drive data-driven decision-making across the One Data Platform. The ideal candidate will translate complex business requirements into actionable insights, scalable reporting solutions, and self-service analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytics delivery across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
- Design and develop Power BI / Microsoft Fabric dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
- Define business KPIs, metrics frameworks, and data models aligned to business objectives.
- Perform advanced data analysis, trend identification, and insight generation.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data quality, availability, and optimized data models.
- Build and maintain curated data marts and business consumption layers.
- Enable self-service analytics through workspace management, governance, and access controls.
- Drive executive-level reporting and data storytelling for key stakeholders.
- Support migration from legacy BI/reporting platforms to Microsoft Fabric and modern data architectures.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote analytics and visualization best practices.

Mandatory Skills
- Microsoft Fabric (Semantic Models, Dataflows Gen2)
- Power BI Dashboard Development
- Strong SQL and Data Analysis skills
- Python or R (preferred)
- Data Modeling (Star Schema, Dimensional Modeling)
- DAX and Power BI Performance Optimization
- ETL Concepts and Data Pipeline Dependencies
- Lakehouse and Data Warehouse Architectures
- KPI Framework Design and Business Analytics
Good to Have
- AI/ML-driven Analytics (AutoML, Predictive Analytics)
- Data Governance and Metadata Management
- Real-Time Dashboards and Streaming Analytics
- Data Quality Frameworks (e.g., DataFlux)
- Domain experience in HR, Finance, or Supply Chain Analytics
Experience Required
- 8–12 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a Lead Data Analyst or Senior Analyst role.
- Proven experience in large-scale analytics, transformation, or migration programmes.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale data platforms and reporting ecosystems.

- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Deep understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data platforms.
- Strong SQL, DAX, and data modeling capabilities.
- Experience delivering executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Exposure to enterprise data transformation and migration initiatives.
