Lead Data Architect

Main Purpose of the Role & Responsibilities:

As a Principal Architect for Data, you will be responsible for delivering modern, effective data and AI solutions across a range of clients. You’ll act as a thought leader in your domain, working closely with senior stakeholders to define principles, set strategic direction, and shape both functional and non-functional solution designs.

You will lead and mentor a team of architects and engineers, supporting them in their development and career progression. Your technical leadership will extend to advising multi-disciplinary agile teams, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business outcomes.

This role includes influencing technology policy, defining standards, contributing to account strategies, and building strong customer relationships. You’ll bring insight into emerging technologies and maintain a commitment to ongoing learning and growth—both for yourself and those around you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
