Our Applied AI team in Amplify is rapidly expanding and strategically vital. We strengthen data foundations, leverage existing ecosystems, and maximise AI potential. Joining us means working in a dynamic multi-functional team solving challenging problems across public and private sectors, with extensive training and support.
About the Role: Lead Data Consultant
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Data Consultant (4-5 years’ experience) to join our Applied AI practice.
This is a consulting-led role for a senior data professional who:
- Advises C-suite and senior stakeholders
- Solves complex business challenges using modern, forward-thinking data & AI architectures
- Shapes meaningful change through data-driven insights and innovation
Key Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Governance: Championing data transformation with a focus on intelligent data use and business impact.
- Data Architecture & Design: Expertise in cloud-native, scalable Big Data, and advanced analytics architectures.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Confidently consulting senior leadership, defining requirements, and presenting clear, credible recommendations.
- Problem Solving: Skilled in analysing complex challenges, adapting across diverse sectors, and driving data-centric solutions.
- AI & Technology Fluency: Keeping pace with emerging trends in data, analytics, and AI, staying curious about evolving technologies.

Additional Requirements
- UK mobility with regular client-site visits
- Security clearance (SC/BPSS), or eligibility to obtain it
- Experience in public sector environments
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and accreditation
- Familiarity with industry data standards or regulated environments
