Lead Data Engineer - London - Energy Trading - 200k
RJC is working a Lead Data Engineer role for a global energy trading company based in London. Working as part of the market data team, they are looking for an experienced data engineer to help develop their data management system to support their front office trading desks.
The role demands an understanding of market data processing, experience with developing systems for live data feed consumption and familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing methodologies.

The ideal Lead Data Engineer will have:
- Strong expertise in market data onboarding, processing, and integration using file transfers, APIs, and web scraping.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data management systems and automated data applications.
- Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing best practices.
- Familiarity with tools such as Zema, Docker, and deployment technologies, with experience in commodities or financial trading environments preferred.
- Experience as a hands-on team lead of market data engineers
