Lead Azure Data Engineer - Financial Services

Camino Search is currently partnering with a financial services client based in Bristol hiring for a Lead Data Engineer.

This is a hands-on position to help build a scalable and modernised data platform and foundations, taking ownership of the data architecture and data warehouse to support the wider technology transformation and M&A activity.

The core technology stack is based in the Azure ecosystem, with an emphasis on Azure, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.

Paying up to £110,000 per annum base salary plus bonus, based in Bristol working hybrid 1-2 days per week in office.

Required Experience:

  • Proven and recent track record as a hands-on data engineer, working on building scalable platforms for 6+ years.
  • Experience and strong technical skills with Azure, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong experience with Databricks, ideally including a migration programme.
  • High commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills to engage with non-technical teams and the wider leadership team.
