Lead Data Engineer

Remote/Hybrid

£90,000-£100,000 + 35 days holiday + 7% pension

Technologies: GCP, Data Mesh, Big Query, Data Lake, Airflow, SQL, Python

Lead Data Engineer position available for a tech-for-good business, who are a major player in the industry they operate within. The business have recently migrated from on-premises infrastructure to GCP and are now building a modern Data Mesh architecture that enables scalable, domain-driven data ownership.

This Lead Data Engineer position will see you providing technical leadership across data product teams, defining architecture, engineering standards, and best practices while ensuring that the platform remains scalable, secure, and high-performing.

Compensation

This Lead Data Engineer position is paying a salary of up to £100,000 + 35 days holiday & 7% pension.

Work Arrangement

  • The role will be mainly remote.
  • An average of 2 days per month will be spent at one of the offices across the North of England.
  • No sponsorship is offered for this position.
  • You must be based in the UK.
