Contract: Initial 3 Months

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Modeler to join an organisation undertaking a significant data transformation and modernisation programme.

This is a hands-on, technically focused consulting role, working across complex data environments to help bridge the gap between Legacy systems and modern data platforms.

The successful consultant will bring extensive expertise in data modeling, data processes and data integration, with the ability to understand existing data landscapes, identify challenges and design practical solutions that support the evolution of modern data environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and understand complex Legacy data environments, structures and processes.
  • Design and develop robust data models to support modernisation and integration initiatives.
  • Define and improve data processes, workflows and transformation methodologies.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions connecting Legacy technologies with modern data storage platforms.
  • Assess existing data structures, dependencies and relationships to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Support data migration, transformation and modernisation activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Work closely with technical architects, engineers and business stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into practical solutions.
  • Provide specialist technical guidance on data architecture, integration patterns and best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
